Depending on seed availability, MAGIC lines are freely provided to public research institutions and NARES partners. Usually seed are available at the advanced generation stage S6:8 after bulked harvest.  Because the MAGIC lines have not been publically released, they are considered a “sensitive” germplasm and require signing of a customized MTA (in contrast to standard MTA).
