Emmer wheat (Triticum dicoccon Schrank), one of the first domesticated cereals, is a potential source of tolerance to drought, heat and salinity for durum and bread wheat breeding. Backcrosses were made to the hexaploid wheat parent and double haploids were produced from which this product is comprised.
