5 November 2015, Texcoco, Mexico – The Integrated Breeding Platform (IBP) is proud and thrilled to announce that it is now available in French and in Chinese.
With a growing user base both in the Francophone countries of West and Central Africa, as well as in China, the Platform is working diligently to provide efficient and customised support in multiple languages.
“Having access to resources in your own language is not only right and equitable, it’s also a good practice we hope will go a long way in supporting breeders in their efforts to learn, progress and contribute to their field. It was also a request that we were getting from our users, time and time again… we are very pleased to fulfil it today,” says Valérie Boire, IBP Communications Officer.
Over the next year, more pages of the IBP web portal, as well as support documentation and educational material, will also become available in these languages. The next target language is Spanish, with a release planned for mid-2016.
